Life Preview is a business-art project by Irma Oldenburg (born in Velsen, 1981). Already interested in art and audio-visual techniques from early childhood, Irma enrolled as a student at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in 2005.
The purpose of Life Preview is its deceiving nature – With Irma’s fictitious company she intends to challenge and stimulate the audience by way of her critical documentaries, as to form their own individual opinion and identity. In these documentaries she fully exploits all the accepted clichés used in present day media and thus explicitly criticizes and combats their commonplace strategies with their own weapons.
