Library
The library is set up for the use of students and staff of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie and the Sandberg Institute. It is located on the ground floor of the new building.
The library offers open access to approx. 8,000 titles, placed in categories such as philosophy, art history, photography, architecture, graphic design, fashion, etc.
One can look into our collection by using the catalogue.
Innovation
Besides the maintenance of the expanding collection the library aspires to generate knowledge and to encourage research by organizing activities: exhibitions, book presentations, film screenings, reading groups and workshops take place in the library.
The library is also becoming a virtual place where researchers can find relevant information. This development has started by designing a blog.
On the library’s blog we give updates on the collection and the activities in the library, and also links to external events and online resources.
We hope to see you soon!
