The Rietveld / Sandberg Library has around 11,000 books available for students and alumni. In recent years the collection has been updated, while also adopting the library collections of SKOR (Foundation for Art in Public Space) and museum De Paviljoens. The collection spans different categories such as philosophy, art history, artist monograph and specialist fields (photography, architecture, graphic design, fashion, etc.).

In addition to building up and maintaining the book collection, the library focuses on generating knowledge and stimulating research by organising a range of activities in the library, including exhibitions, lectures and reading groups.
